My name is Briana Harper, founder of Surf Club, established in 2025. What started as a simple idea—wanting our kids to have friends to play with at the beach—quickly turned into something much bigger. Last summer, we invited a few friends to set aside the first Sunday of each month for beach days in Newport Beach. Before long, word spread, our community grew, and we found ourselves surrounded by incredible families coming together to connect, unwind, and enjoy the ocean. After such a special season, we knew we had to do it again.

Surf Club is a space for families with kids ages 0–12 to gather, build friendships, and create lasting memories by the beach. Each summer, we meet from June through September on the first Sunday of every month from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM in Newport Beach. It’s about sunshine, surf, coffee, and community—simple moments that mean everything. If you’d like to join us for a family beach day, we’d love to have you.
